Dan Murphy’s named Liquor Store of the Year in Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards

Australia’s leading liquor retailer Dan Murphy’s has been named Liquor Store of the Year in the 2023 Roy Morgan Annual Customer Satisfaction Awards for the second year in a row.

The highly-coveted award acknowledges the highest customer satisfaction scores across 38 categories by asking more than 60,000 respondents to share their experience with some of Australia’s best known brands.

Monthly Customer Satisfaction winners are recorded in each category throughout the year, with the annual award going to the company with the most monthly wins.

‍

Dan Murphy’s Managing Director Agi Pfeiffer-Smith said the award represents Dan Murphy’s consistent, customer-first approach throughout all of its stores nationwide.

“To receive this award for the second year in a row is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our team members, who always put customers first in everything they do,” she said.

“My Dan’s has more than five million active members with a scan rate of more than 80 percent, which demonstrates the incredible engagement we have with our customer base, and our unwavering commitment to meeting their needs.”

Dan Murphy’s also finished third in the Roy Morgan Best of the Best Customer Satisfaction Award behind Telco Aussie Broadband and car manufacturer Skoda.

Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine said the business and brands featured in Roy Morgan’s Best of the Best Customer Satisfaction Award have outperformed all rivals from within their respective industries.
