Endeavour welcomes two SA hotels, investing further in the state

Australia’s leading drinks and hospitality business Endeavour Group welcomes today’s announcement the ACCC will not oppose the Beach Hotel Seaford andTower Hotel Magill from joining its South Australian operations.

The Tower Hotel will join Endeavour’s Australian Hospitality and Leisure ALH division as proposed, while Endeavour has given an undertaking to divest one BWS store approximately500 metres from the Beach Hotel in Seaford to expedite the ACCC’s review.

Under the revised proposal, Endeavour has also withdrawn its proposal to acquire two other hotels in SA from the same vendor: The Crown Inn in Old Reynella and the Whitehorse Inn in Bolivar.

‍

Endeavour Group will continue to work constructively with the ACCC, noting that any hotel and bottle shop acquisition is considered individually based on the unique circumstances of the transaction.

Tower Hotel:

• Recently renovated, the Tower Hotel has a range of facilities including a family-oriented bistro, a kids cinema, sports bar, gaming lounge, function rooms, outdoor area and a bottle shop.‍

Beach Hotel:

‍

• The Beach Hotel is located in Seaford, a southern suburban hotspot in Adelaide, offering a bistro, live entertainment, function space, sports bar, and gaming lounge.
